Amélie Mauresmo Thank you. I'm happy to be here.

karelyn_hrushowy: Amelie, I have heard that you do not enjoy your off-court workouts. How do you stay in such great physical shape?

Amélie Mauresmo Well it's true I don't like off court work but it's something that you've got to do if you want to be 100% on the court so I'm trying to push myself. These days I'm also trying a little bit of yoga and I like to listen to music.
Kathurn:How often do you visit your great fanpage ?

Amélie MauresmoWell the last time was some weeks ago

rolltide1969: Amelie, if you had the Australian Open final to play over again what would you do differently?

Amélie Mauresmo First I would beat her. Otherwise I would go on court more relaxed.

Sonjajo: Are you doing any endorsements? Would love to get "Amelie" stuff!

Amélie Mauresmo I don't have anything for the moment, but if something comes I will let you know.

FraG_: Was revenge high up in your mind in Paris a few weeks later?

Amélie Mauresmo No, first thing to do in Paris for me was to confirm what I did in Australia. But then it's true that it was a good feeling for me to beat Martina after what happened in the final

Gizmotic: Amelie, have you heard about the project of over 50 of your greatest fans, who are about to form an international fan club? Will you support us ?

Amélie Mauresmo I was not aware of this, but now that you tell me I'm going to do something.

calou1: Since your coming out, did you received many letters from lesbians girls?

Amélie Mauresmo Yes I did.

janeypoo: Hey Amelie, from Australia. I read that you were invited to the gay games 2000 in Melbourne. Are you going to attend?

Amélie Mauresmo I haven't heard about it. I'm hoping to go to Sydney 2000.

CFone: Amélie, How do you prepare yourself for the Family Circle Cup?

Amélie Mauresmo I drink I smoke and I party, and it works.

Amélie Mauresmo Not yet but the tour is setting one up for me through the WTA tour website, but it's not ready yet. And I'm also on the side going to have a site but not right now.

janeypoo: How do the officials feel about you wearing shorts?

Amélie Mauresmo I'm not the only one and not the first and they don't care.

Amélie Mauresmo I'm in pretty good shape these days so I hope it's going to go well.

gaytennisfani: Do you like playing in the United States? Will you like it better after you win the FAMILY CIRCLE CUP????

Amélie Mauresmo Yes, playing in the USA is great because there is always a lot of crowds and hopefully it's going to be better and better.

Mauresque: Do you really prefer wearing shorts? You don't like skirts?

Amélie Mauresmo Actually in Australia was the first time I was wearing shorts

karelyn_hrushowy: Did you watch the Williams' sister match-up yesterday?

Amélie Mauresmo I just watched a couple of points because I had to go practice.

miluch: Who is your hitting partner?

Amélie Mauresmo I don't have a special hitting partner. I'm just hitting with the girls on the tour.

Kirrri: Hi Amelie. Did you enjoy your time in Melbourne? And are you looking forward to the Australian Open next year?

Amélie Mauresmo Yes, we had a very good time in Melbourne, but I didn't have time to really see or visit the city. Yes of course I'm very excited about next year.

gaytennisfani: Have you spoken to Martina Navratilova or Billie Jean King since Australia?

Amélie Mauresmo No I haven't. I received an email from Martina., but I didn't talk to her in person.

Mauresque: What do you eat before a game -- the traditional pasta ???

Amélie Mauresmo Yes, the traditional pasta, and that's what I'm going to have to do now.
